Maryland's children are increasingly affected by decisions made in Washington, D.C., by Congress or federal agencies. Advocates for Children and Youth works with our sister organizations across the country to promote children's priorities at the federal level. ACY is the Kids Count organization for Maryland. We work with Kids Counts groups in other states and with the Annie E. Casey Foundation, which supports the Kids Count Network. ACY is the Maryland member of Voices for America's Children. We work closely with Voices national staff. ACY is also a proud member of the Children in Focus program, funded through First Focus.
